There were two overnight fires. One was an SFF and the other was an MFF. Thank you to Bob Nelson, Jim Berzowski, Robin Berzowski, and Burlie Williams (DAT Response Supervisor) for assisting two households. Thank you Warren Simonsen and Gretchen Simonsen for assisting an additional household.

Happy Grounhog Day 2022! Punxsutawney Phil predicts six more weeks of winter – a long and lustrous winter. It will never be bereft of hope as long as Red Cross volunteers and staff are there to offer hope and compassion.

WI and UP Home Fire Update – Jan. 22

Our volunteers & your support brought relief for hundreds of our neighbors displaced by home fires this past month.

It's our busiest time of year for fires — on behalf of people in need after these daily disasters, thank you for believing in our mission.

February DAT Briefing Scheduled

The Southeast Wisconsin Monthly DAT Briefing has been scheduled fro February 16, 2022 6-7:45pm. Invitations were sent by email to all responders. Please RSVP. We record the meetings and provide a link if you are unable to attend. Currently, we meet using MS Teams. Look for the link in your invitation.

We will discuss issues related to DAT, explore best practices and learn from the experiences of others. Policy and procedure updates will be provided.

We are passionate but informal and above all, always kind.

A short presentation on a topic of interest by a subject matter expert will be made.

The meeting agenda/presentation will be provided the day of the meeting. If you have any agenda items, they are always welcome.
