Thank you Jenny McCluskey and Shana Beal for assisting the first two of up to 16 households displaced by a 16 unit apartment fire on Anthony Avenue in Racine last night. assistance will be offered to the remainder of the displaced residents today.
Thank you to David Anderson, Seb Weigman, Paul Lucey, and Sharon Holt (regional virtual team) for assisting up to eight households after a fire in a boarding house in the Clock Tower Acres neighborhood of Milwaukee. The response is in progress at this time. This response is being conducted both in person and virtually.

Thank you Warren Simonsen and Gretchen Simonsen for assisting a household in the Graceland neighborhood of Milwaukee after a single family fire earlier in the week.

Thank you Kathy Shillinglaw and Sharon Holt (regional virtual team) for assisting three households after a morning multi family fire in the Walker’s Point neighborhood of Milwaukee this morning. Special thanks to Kathy for going above and beyond by staying after her shift and making CAC deliveries.

Thank you to Debbie Urbanek, Pat Joschko, and Dianna Trush (DHS) for opening cases for 10 households today at the Redeemer Lutheran Church shelter location. We will continue client intake tomorrow. Our Disaster Action Team continues to support this DRO (Disaster Relief Operation) in a big way through providing shelter staffing, feeding, and just about any other necessary function. Thank you to the 13 DAT responders who are currently listed as DRO staff and to those who are on the schedule to handle other DAT responses.
